Sadness

Mr. Johnson and I are close, but the two of us sometimes spend days apart. He fills his time with his own concerns, being a man of the world himself. If it weren't for his keen interest in the animal world, and sad aptitude for mathematics, we never would have met. Some of the people he spends time with include an ever-changing contingency of middle school children, some of who appear to be quite friendly, while others pose an immediate threat to my imminent safety.
